Needless to say, this domain is expanding exponentially. I explore new concepts, ideas, tools, and opinions daily and love sharing them on Medium for everyone's benefit.
My journey in data science started as an undergraduate. I did a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Statistics at the University of Peradeniya. I've got a graduate placement at hSenid as a software engineer, again focusing on data science. After hSenid, I worked as a data analyst for Stax, a global management consultancy firm.
Working for a consulting firm is fun and challenging. I get to work with clients in different industries with different needs. The projects I've worked on could be as small as social media analysis or as large as an end-to-end project on data engineering.
Today, I do independent consultancy, and my writing hobby also plays a central role in my life.
